Diane's Son Eddie
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Diane Thomas, her mother Marie Stephens, and their family. Diane's son Sgt. Eddie Thomas died while making an arrest last Tuesday evening. His funeral will be Wednesday, September 20. Diane is staying at her mother's home.For the Seattle Times obituary and guest book, go here.

A memorial service for Thomas is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Westgate Chapel, 22901 Edmonds Way. A procession to Floral Hills Cemetery, 409 Filbert Road, and a graveside service will follow the memorial.

I did not know Eddie, but I know Marie and Diane. Diane talked of Eddie a lot. I am sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what it must be like to lose a son. It speaks to his character that he was a policeman and a person in the coast Guard...giving back to the community and his country. I have been touched by the outpouring of his community where he was working. Joe and my thoughts and prayers are with you, Marie and Diane.
